The Mount Jomolhari Trek is one of Bhutan’s most iconic high-altitude adventures, offering breathtaking views of the sacred Mount Jomolhari (7,326 m). This trek takes you through remote Himalayan landscapes, alpine forests, glacial rivers, and high mountain passes. Along the journey, experience untouched wilderness, traditional yak herder camps, and rare wildlife like blue sheep and Himalayan birds.

🔸 Day 1: Arrival in Paro
Arrival at Paro and drive to Thimphu.

- National Memorial Chorten
Overnight stay in Thimphu.
🔸 Day 2: Acclimatization & Tiger’s Nest Hike
Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery
Visit:
Kyichu Lhakhang
Overnight stay in Paro.
🔸 Day 3: Paro to Shingkarap (Trek Begins)
Distance: 9 KM | Time: 4–5 Hours
Drive to Gunitsawa via Drukgyel Dzong
Highlights:
Trek along Paro Chhu river
Forest trails & gradual ascent
Camp at Shingkarap (~3,110 m).
🔸 Day 4: Shingkarap to Soi Thangkha
Distance: 15 KM | Time: 5–6 Hours

Pine, oak & spruce forests

Experience:
Rhododendron landscapes
Mountain views
Camp at Soi Thangkha (~3,670 m).
🔸 Day 5: Soi Thangkha to Jangothang Base Camp
Distance: 17 KM | Time: 5–6 Hours

Trek above tree line

Open alpine valleys
Camp at Jangothang (~4,040 m).
🔸 Day 6: Acclimatization at Jangothang
Activities:
Short hikes around base camp
Optional visit to Tshophu Lakes

Overnight at Jangothang.
🔸 Day 7: Jangothang to Lingzhi
Distance: 18 KM | Time: 6–7 Hours
Highlights:
Cross Neyle La Pass (~4,830 m)
Views of Jomolhari & Jichu Drake
Camp at Lingzhi (~4,010 m).
🔸 Day 8: Lingzhi to Shodu
Distance: 19 KM | Time: 7–8 Hours
