Your Bhutan journey begins with pickup from Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station.

Meet our tour representative and begin the drive towards Bhutan via Phuentsholing. After completing immigration formalities, continue the scenic journey towards Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan located at an altitude of 7,710 ft.

During the journey you may visit Kharbandi Monastery (optional), stop at Chuzom Waterfall, and enjoy views of the Chhukha Dam along the way.

Upon arrival in Thimphu, check in at the hotel and relax.

After breakfast, begin a full day sightseeing tour of Thimphu.

Start with a visit to Buddha Point (Buddha Dordenma), a massive golden Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Continue to Simply Bhutan Museum, a living museum that showcases traditional Bhutanese culture and lifestyle.

Enjoy panoramic views of Thimphu city from the BBS Tower viewpoint.

Visit important religious and cultural sites including the National Memorial Chorten and the historic Changangkha Monastery.

Nature lovers can explore the National Zoo, home to Bhutan’s unique national animal, the Takin.

Later visit the National Library and explore the local Handicraft Market where you can find traditional Bhutanese crafts.

In the evening, visit the magnificent Tashichho Dzong, which houses the secretariat building and throne room of the King of Bhutan.

Overnight stay at Thimphu.

After breakfast, begin the scenic drive from Thimphu to Punakha.

During the journey, pass through the breathtaking Dochula Pass, known for its 108 memorial chortens and stunning views of the Himalayan mountains.

Continue towards Punakha, located at an altitude of around 1,300 meters and known for its fertile valley formed by the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers.

Visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, also known as the “Palace of Great Happiness,” built in the 17th century and serving as the winter residence of Bhutan’s central monastic body.

Later explore the historic Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of the longest and oldest suspension bridges in Bhutan.

Also visit Chimi Lhakhang, the famous Temple of Fertility, a sacred pilgrimage site especially for couples seeking blessings.

After breakfast, drive towards Paro and begin local sightseeing.

Visit Ta Dzong, a former watchtower that now houses the National Museum of Bhutan.

From there walk down the trail to visit the famous Rinpung Dzong, meaning “Fortress of the Heap of Jewels,” known for its beautiful Bhutanese architecture.

Continue to Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan.

Later visit Drukgyal Dzong, also known as Bhutan Victory Fort, built in 1646 to commemorate Bhutan’s victory over Tibetan invaders.

On clear days, you can enjoy spectacular views of Mount Jomolhari, Bhutan’s second-highest mountain.

The evening is free for leisure and exploring the town.

Overnight stay at Paro.

After breakfast, begin the scenic drive back to Phuentsholing.

Enjoy the beautiful Himalayan landscapes and winding mountain roads during the journey.

Upon arrival in Phuentsholing, check in at the hotel and relax.

The evening is free for leisure where you can explore the local markets, shop for souvenirs, or simply enjoy the peaceful border town atmosphere.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the drive towards Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station.
