Once the permits are processed, begin your scenic drive towards Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.

During the journey, stop at Gedu Town and enjoy views of the beautiful Wangkha Waterfall.

After breakfast, begin your sightseeing tour of Thimphu.

Visit Buddha Point (Buddha Dordenma), one of the largest Buddha statues in the world offering panoramic views of the valley.

Continue to King’s Memorial Chorten, an important religious landmark in the city.

After sightseeing, drive towards Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass, famous for its 108 memorial chortens and Himalayan views. You will also visit the Royal Botanical Garden on the way.

Visit the majestic Punakha Dzong, one of the most beautiful and historic fortresses in Bhutan located at the confluence of two rivers.

Continue to Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Fertility Temple.

After breakfast, begin the hike to Taktsang Monastery, popularly known as Tiger’s Nest.

Perched dramatically on a cliff about 900 meters above the Paro Valley, Tiger’s Nest is one of Bhutan’s most sacred and iconic monasteries.

The hike offers spectacular views of mountains, forests, and valleys along the trail.

After returning from the hike, spend the evening exploring local handicraft shops and souvenir stores in Paro.

After breakfast, visit Ta Dzong, which now serves as the National Museum of Bhutan.

Continue to Rinpung Dzong, a beautiful monastery and fortress known for its traditional Bhutanese architecture.

Later begin the return journey towards Phuentsholing.

During the drive, visit Tachog Lhakhang and Kharbandi Goenpa monastery.
