<\/span>Refunds & Cancellations Policy<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h5>

At SD Travel Group, we understand that travel plans may change due to unforeseen circumstances. Our Refunds & Cancellations Policy is designed to be transparent and fair while covering operational and vendor-related costs.<\/span><\/p>

Please read the policy carefully before confirming your booking.<\/span><\/p>

<\/span>1. Cancellation by the Guest<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h5>

If you wish to cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges may apply:<\/span><\/p>

<\/span>Domestic Tour Packages (Sikkim, Darjeeling, Bhutan Tours, etc.)<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h5>
  • 30 days or more before departure<\/b> \u2013 10% of total package cost<\/span><\/li>
  • 15\u201329 days before departure<\/b> \u2013 25% of total package cost<\/span><\/li>
  • 7\u201314 days before departure<\/b> \u2013 50% of total package cost<\/span><\/li>
  • Less than 7 days before departure<\/b> \u2013 100% of total package cost (No Refund)<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email or WhatsApp to our official contact number.<\/span><\/p>

    <\/span>2. No-Show Policy<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h5>

    If a guest does not arrive on the scheduled date without prior notice:<\/span><\/p>

    • 100% of the total package cost will be charged.<\/span><\/li>
    • No refund will be applicable.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
      <\/span>3. Refund Processing Time<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h5>
      • Eligible refunds will be processed within <\/span>7\u201314 working days<\/b> after cancellation confirmation.<\/span><\/li>
      • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during booking.<\/span><\/li>
      • Bank charges or payment gateway fees (if applicable) may be deducted.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
        <\/span>4. Non-Refundable Services<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h5>

        The following services are strictly non-refundable:<\/span><\/p>

        • Permit fees (e.g., for Nathula Pass)<\/span><\/li>
        • Entry tickets & special sightseeing tickets<\/span><\/li>
        • Adventure activities<\/span><\/li>
        • Flight\/train tickets (subject to airline\/railway policies)<\/span><\/li>
        • Visa fees for Bhutan or international tours<\/span><\/li>
        • Peak season hotel bookings (as per hotel policy)<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
          <\/span>5. Cancellation Due to Natural or Unavoidable Circumstances<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h5>

          In case of:<\/span><\/p>

          • Landslides in Sikkim or Darjeeling<\/span><\/li>
          • Political disturbances<\/span><\/li>
          • Government travel restrictions<\/span><\/li>
          • Pandemics<\/span><\/li>
          • Road blockages<\/span><\/li>
          • Extreme weather conditions<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

            Refunds will be subject to:<\/span><\/p>

            • Hotel vendor policies<\/span><\/li>
            • Transport vendor policies<\/span><\/li>
            • Actual recoverable amount from service providers<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

              SD Travel Group will make every effort to reschedule your trip or provide credit notes where possible.<\/span><\/p>

              <\/span>6. Tour Curtailment (After Trip Has Started)<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h5>

              If a guest decides to:<\/span><\/p>

              • Shorten the trip<\/span><\/li>
              • Skip sightseeing<\/span><\/li>
              • Leave early<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

                No refund will be provided for unused services.<\/span><\/p>

                <\/span>7. Amendment Charges<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h5>
                • Date changes, hotel upgrades, or itinerary modifications may attract additional charges.<\/span><\/li>
                • Changes are subject to availability.<\/span><\/li>
                • Price differences must be paid immediately to confirm revised bookings.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
                  <\/span>8. Cancellation by SD Travel Group<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h5>

                  SD Travel Group reserves the right to cancel a tour due to:<\/span><\/p>

                  • Insufficient bookings<\/span><\/li>
                  • Operational reasons<\/span><\/li>
                  • Safety concerns<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

                    In such cases, guests will receive:<\/span><\/p>

                    • A full refund of the amount paid<\/span>
                      <\/span> OR<\/span><\/li>
                    • An option to reschedule the trip.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
                      <\/span>9. Special Conditions During Peak Season<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h5>

                      During peak travel periods (March\u2013June, October\u2013December, festivals, long weekends):<\/span><\/p>

                      • Cancellation policies may be stricter.<\/span><\/li>
                      • Some hotels may impose 100% cancellation charges.<\/span><\/li>
                      • Guests will be informed at the time of booking.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
                        <\/span>10. Important Notes<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h5>
                        • Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against unexpected cancellations.<\/span><\/li>
